Abstract/Contents:"Using conventional spraying method, the top five fungicide, 25% propiconazole EC, 75% chlorothalonil, 70% methyl thiophanate, iprodione 50% SC, 70% mancozeb, were selected for control brown patch in tall fescue, and the incidence of brown patch of tall fescue turf and field control effect was investigated. The results showed that spraying frequency significantly affected the control effect of the brown patch in tall fescue turf, spraying frequency and the incidence was negatively correlated ,the higher the spraying frequency, the lower the lawn disease level index, the turf quality was better; in which, when spraying a higher frequency, field control of thiophanate-methyl was the best; the control effect of propiconazole and chlorothalonil was relatively stable and higher;bpropiconazole and iprodione was the worst, or even lag behind the control level. There was a significant correlation between lawn disease level index and the turf quality(P0.05);disease index and turf quality of available linear equation Y=4.829-0.037X (Y: turf quality; X:disease index(%)),P=0.047).The above results of pharmaceutical prevention of tall fescue brown patch should be preferred to thiophanate-methyl, propiconazole and chlorothalonil, on behalf of manganese zinc compound fungicide, followed by the spraying frequency should be maintained at least twice a month."
