Abstract/Contents:"The effect of different peat contents(0 g,10 g,20 g,30 g,40 g and 50 g per kg) in sand-based soil on growth of Kentucky bluegrass(Poa pratensis).The main results indicated that turf quality,turf density,aboveground biomass,root biomass and R/T increased with peat content and the peack values appeared while the peat content was ranged from 20 to 30 g/kg,and after that they declined.Based on the percent of root amount in different depths,it showed a trend of that the root amount in upper layer was increased and it was decreased in lower layer along with the increase of peat content."
