| Abstract/Contents: | This weevil has damaged annual meadow grass in golf course turf. Organophosphates showed greater promise for control than did chlorinated hydrocarbons. Efficient control by applications in mid-April and again in mid-May was obtained with granular diazinon at 3-4 lb a.i. and Dursban (diethyl trichloropyridyl-phosphorothioate) e.c. at 1 1/2-2 lb/acre. |
