Abstract/Contents:"Founded in 1912, the football club Rimini has always played on the ground now occupied by the stadium named after Romeo Neri. From this year, however, one runs on the synthetic. The need to play on a ground in optimal conditions led to the decision to equip the stadium, now for 7,400 spectators, a synthetic turf. It was chosen a product of the latest generation, composed of monofilament polyethylene non-abrasive fibers, S-shaped. The mantle UV-resistant, frost and high resistance and durability, based on a draining underlayer which is a gap of about a centimeter, by which the water flows on the surface avoiding any stagnation. For infill stabilization it is used silica sand, with a particle size suitable and rounded edges to facilitate the durability of the fibers of the artificial turf. The performance infill is environmentally friendly, consisting of particles in organic material of plant origin for at least 70%, natural, resulting from the defibration of the coconut, mixed with only one type of rubber (SBR) of brown color. The product is anti-fouling and anti-freeze, absolutely non-toxic and non-abrasive to skin contact. Its composition enables to maintain constant moisture and allows a perfect drainage."
