| Abstract/Contents: | "With the opening of the new synthetic field, the sports center Giovanni Bui in San Giuliano Terme reaches a quality target as a reference point for the multi-purpose sports clubs of the area, but will also be one of the three sports centers of formation of the FIGC in Tuscany. Approved for soccer-a-11, but equipped with permanent signatures to be split into two soccer-a-seven fields, the new field has been achieved with a substrate thickness of 21 cm, with vertical drainage. The mantle, of the latest generation, is made with strands of polyethylene, wear-resistant and weatherproof, the actual height of 60 mm, obtained with yarns from special section to return memory. The particular S-shape (or wave), reinforced in the central part, guarantees a high absorption capacity of the stress caused by the use in game actions. The mantle was clogged with silica sand in rounded edge for the stabilization of the carpet. The performance infill is instead made with a 100% natural plant for artificial turfs. The special quality of elasticity and flexibility of this type of artificial turf, ensure good performance, a rolling ball perfectly natural, highly stable support during movement, no abrasion on the skin in case of falls or slips." |
