Abstract/Contents:"Two models (F96 and S94) for predicting the brown patch disease of creeping bentgrass were tested by using the meteorological data from July to August in 2005 and 2006 in Beijing and the results indicated that 1) For S94, the false alarm ratio was 0.05, the probability of detection was 0.83, the critical success index was 0.8, the accuracy rating of brown patch duration was 91%. 2) For F96, the false alarm ratio was 0.05, the probability of detection was 0.83,the critical success index was 0.8, the accuracy rating of brown patch duration was 64%. Two prediction models showed satisfying potential and could be used in Beijing."
