Abstract/Contents:"In order to investigate the effects of reclaimed water irrigation on the BVOCs of urban green space plants, the BVOCs of three turfgrasses (perennial ryegrass, Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescues) under reclaimed water irrigation and tap water irrigation were measured using closed sampling method and thermal desorption TDS-GC/MS analysis. The dynamic characteristics of the BVOCs released by the three turfgrasses were obtained. The results showed that the main BVOCs released by the three turfgrasses were terpenes, alkanes, aldehydes, alcohols, esters, acids and ketones, and there were no significant differences between the two irrigation waters. These results prove that the turfgrass of urban green space irrigated by reclaimed water has no significant influence on air component, and reclaimed water can be used as supplementary of ecological water demand of urban turf."
