Abstract/Contents:Reports on controls measures for spring dead spot in North Carolina and the idea that the diseases that are delayed in winter dormancy may predispose the infected turf to low temperature kill. Also discussed are the problems related to isolation attempts and current isolation techniques. A fungicide/fertility study is cited which looks at the interaction between low temperature kill and late fungicide/fertility applications. In all, six fungicides were tested along with five fertilizers.
