| Abstract/Contents: | "It is this summer the intervention of modernization, which has made the Partenio the largest Italian stadium with synthetic grass; and the system used is an innovative solution, certified LND and FIFA, with patented organic infill. The work lasted less than a month, to fulfill the match schedule. The project was divided into two phases, the natural grass of the stadium was first removed and transferred on the training ground (the so-called B-field), after reconstruction of the drainage in the limestone elements in variable particle size. At this point, in the main field it has been consolidated the substrate with the creation of a screed in concrete, fiber-reinforced, stabilized with a specific agent at hydraulic action. On it is placed a drainage mat that allows you to cushion the shock of the game on the turf. The synthetic grass is high 62 mm, and is clogged with organic granules the consist of a mix of natural and environmentally friendly elements. The third day of the championship was held in torrential rain, which gave way to effectively test the grip at the ball and the absence of false rebounds, detail that make the difference, as stated by the team's striker house." |
