| Abstract/Contents: | "The soil coverage of a lawn area was determined over a period of three months by two methods. On the one hand, visually by a person with the help of an estimating frame and on the other hand by a digital analysis technology. The comparison of the results and a correlation analysis suggest that there is a positive relationship between the two methods. The digital analysis technology convinces with its high accuracy, reproducibility, objectivity as well as saving of time. It seems to be a futureoriented alternative to the visual soil coverage rating." |
