Abstract/Contents:"A pool-culture experiment was conducted to study the effects of interaction between controlled-release nitrogen fertilizer and PP333 on the cold-resistance of sports ground turf. The results indicated that with the time of low temperature extended, the relative electric conductivity and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA),free proline and soluble sugar increased step by step, while superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD) activities raised at first, then fell down, and catalase (CAT) activity was decreased. Among all experimental treatments, F2P1 (N 20g/m2, PP333 600mg/L) showed the best effect on cold-resistance, turfgrass had the lowest peroxidation degree of cell membrane system, the highest content of osmotic regulation matter and the highest activity of active-oxygen-scavenging enzyme."
