Abstract/Contents: | The purpose of the study is to investigate the suitability of nineteen species of ornamental grass for the Iowa climate. It is expected that the trial will run for 5 to 8 years. Names grasses that exhibited adaptability to Iowa, grasses that were less adaptable (poor growth and some winter kill), and grasses that suffered winter kill. |
