| Abstract/Contents: | "In the last three decades since the introduction of irrigation 'smart' controller technology, the most dramatic innovation has been the recent ability to connect irrigation control to the internet yet few landscape professionals are taking advantage of this technology. With adaption on this new affordable cloud-based smart irrigation controller technology, a landscape contractor will see a dramatic improvement in crew efficiency, repair revenue, and contract accountability. The benefits of an internet connected controller include reduced trips, proactive system alerts, visibility to program changes and system functions, automated communication to a client about their irrigation systems and remote system access. All these benefits contribute to a healthier bottom line for a landscape maintenance professional." |
