Abstract/Contents:"Warm season alternatives to creeping bentgrass for golf course putting surfaces are limited in the transition zone. Development of bermudagrass genotypes with improved cold tolerance and increased genetic diversity is required to produce sustainable putting surfaces in the U.S. transition zone and cooler climates. Over the last 2 years, 3 trials have been initiated in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to assess the tolerance of bermudagrass genotypes to low mowing heights and putting green management practices."
