Abstract/Contents: | Explores the positive effects of using slow release nitrogen sources on turf. The use of slow-release materials can reduce overall nitrogen use by 25 percent without lessening quality. Overall clipping output is also reduced with slow-release products versus fast-acting forms of nitrogen. These benefits of slow-release nitrogen sources came from trials conducted in Southern California by the Soil Works Company. |
