Abstract/Contents: | "Today, successful irrigation of slopes by surface and subsurface drip irrigation presents a very attractive alternative to designers for controlling runoff and erosion. Properly designed drip or subsurface drip irrigation systems can achieve high application and distribution efficiences. This is especially effective when irrigating either cut or fill slopes." Advantages and disadvantages are given. Surface drip irrigation applications are described. |
