The disease has been observed in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Georgia and California. It has been diagnosed on turfgrass samples from 40 counties throughout Florida indicating the fungal pathogen is widely distributed in the state. G.g. graminis is the same fungus that causes the disease Bermudagrass Decline on golf course putting greens. It has also been observed as a pathogen of zoysiagrass and may be associated with a disease of centipedegrass." Topics included are: symptoms disease development, disease diagnosis, and control. |
