Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the negative media coverage surrounding the "Is the Golfing Green?" symposium in Wilmington on March 24. The symposium was to educate about important environmental issues. The media labels the golf industry as denying the existence of any environmental problems caused by chemicals and as killing wildlife with pesticide use. The author protests this stereotyping as inaccurate and spiteful. |
