Abstract/Contents:"For some years by now researches focus on hybrid turf on sports grounds. Since the beginning it is oft he [of the] utmost importance to study how to boost the durability and the robustness of the sports grounds. Tests made at the University of Applied Science of Osnabr^D''ck on different mixtures of hybrid turf for base layers show no statistically significant advantages compared to base layers without fiber armoring (FLACHMANN, 2016). However, when the purchaser believes the advertised producers advantages, the statistical and scientifically proven evaluation will no longer be an handicap to install an hybrid turf base layer. After the sports ground covered with hybrid turf has been installed, it will be important to develop tending strategies because problems may occur, even if the sports ground becomes an appropriate maintenance. It can happen that organic substances accumulate in the amored [armored] upper turf layer (RTS). Furthermore, the armored RTS will be covered when sand is thrown on the sports ground. Subsequently, the armored RTS loses its function gradually. After a year long strain, tending and maintenance, it will be necessary to take steps for ist [its] regeneration. In a Masters thesis of the University of Applied Science of Osnabr^D''ck they analyse how the fibres and to remove the toplayer by milling influence the regeneration."
