| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the results of a statistical mortality study which reviewed death certificates of 618 former GCSAA members between 1970 and 1992 and compared them to the general population. States that the study found a higher than ususal number of deaths from lung cancer. Dr. Burton Kross, associate professor of preventative medicine and environmental health at Iowa is quoted as saying, "...you can't establish any cause-and-effect relationship from the data," due to the fact that it was a statistical study. |
