Abstract/Contents: | "Methiozolin is a new isoxazoline herbicide under development for selective control of annual bluegrass (Poa annua L.) in creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera L.) and other turfgrass species. Occasionally, annual bluegrass susceptibility and creeping bentgrass tolerance to methiozolin do not happen as expected. The objectives of this study were to determine the effects of methiozolin on annual bluegrass 'Two Putt' and creeping bentgrass Pure Distinction turf under different rooting depths. In addition, herbicide metabolism was compared in both species over time." |
