Abstract/Contents: | Computer Aided Maintenance Planning (CAMP) is a computer program that is used at the Auraria Higher Education Center in Denver, Colorado to help the staff keep track of corrective and preventive maintenance work orders, inventory, and billing. The staff at Auraria were having a hard time keeping track of things until they adopted the CAMP system. "The CAMP system tracks maintenance and non-maintenance (work that is being billed to a customer) types of operations from the moment the request for work comes into the office until it is finished and billed. It keeps a complete record of work performed, the time and materials used and a complete payment history for each work order." A more detailed explanation of how the CAMP system works is given. |
