Abstract/Contents: | Insecticidal soaps are soluble spray solutions made from the fatty acids of plants and animals. These soaps can be used as an effective control of soft-bodied insects in gardens and landscapes. In order to get the best control from insecticidal soaps several factors need to be considered when using them. These factors include: direct contact of the soap with the insect; soft water dilution; application timing; and temperatures. Suggestions are made as to what you should and should not mix with insecticidal soaps. |
