Abstract/Contents:Glyphosate at 1 lb/acre applied 2 weeks prior to sowing Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) on 17 September gave better control of creeping bentgrass (Agrostis palustris) than application immediately after sowing. In another study, glyphosate was more effective than paraquat (each at 1 lb/acre) for the control of A. palustris and 2 applications of glyphosate at an interval of 2 weeks gave better control than one application.
