Abstract/Contents:A soccer fan wrote to a paper complaining about how much tickets costs to watch top-level soccer games. The fan wrote that rather than pay the ridiculous prices fans would stay at home and watch soccer on television which would cause the revenues at soccer clubs to decrease. However, it is explained that fans must realize that ticket prices are increasing because they are getting more for their money. The only reason soccer clubs increase ticket prices is so that stadium costs such as safety, maintenance, and crowd control could be adequately covered.
