Abstract/Contents: | Slender speedwell (Veronica filiformis) used to be a plant that was favored by plant collectors and gardners because of it attractive blue flowers. Now the plant is a major turfgrass weed which causes considerable problems for greenkeeps and groundsmen. Slender speedwell creates a problem because of its growth habits and resistance to herbicides. Several herbicides and chemicals are discussed that can be used as potential controls for slender speedwell. |
