Abstract/Contents: | Remote control valves are a very important part of an irrigation system and they are subjected to a lot of pressures associated with the system. Therefore, eventually the remote control valve is going to fail or have some problems. When the valve does fail the owner has to decide whether it is more cost-efficient to replace or repair the valve. Several factors are noted that should be considered when deciding whether to replace or repair irrigation control valves. |
