| Abstract/Contents: | Research was conducted that concentrated on the infection of adventitious roots of creeping bentgrass with numerous species and isolates of Pythium. Results from this research suggests that damage to creeping bentgrass by Pythium falls into two categories; Pythium root dysfunction and Pythium damage to mature stands. These two categories are discussed in detail and more information about the research is given. |
