Abstract/Contents:Due to the fact that not enough monetary resources are used for landscape development, topsoil ends up being removed or buried. This causes poor growth of landscape plants. A study was conducted to determine the effects of soil amendments on disturbed soils derived from parent materials. Results reported include the effects of the 5 different organic matter sources and 3 volumes on visual quality, dry clipping weights, and fresh clipping weights, of perennial ryegrass, and on relative water content and soil physical properties.
