Abstract/Contents: | Thatch buildup on Kentucky bluegrass is normal, but excessive amounts of thatch harm turfgrass growth and development. Thatch removal can be very expensive therefore an alternative is needed. A study was conducted to investigate the influence of compost topdressing on thatch decomposition. Results (clipping yields and visual quality) of the study are given. |
