Abstract/Contents: | Integrated pest management (IPM) programs are becoming more popular due to rising chemical costs and environmental concern, unavailability of long term residual pesticides, and decreasing dependency on pesticides. IPM programs reduces the dependency on chemicals while keeping pests from reaching damaging levels. A complete description is given of what is incorporated in an IPM program and some of the most recent advances for various measures available in the IPM field. |
