In the following year in which herbicides were applied in irrigation water in a number of sequences, treatments tolerated by the bentgrass turf included 2,4-D-dimethylamine and chlorfenac each at 2 ppmw., copper sulphate, a copper sulphate-triethanolamine complex and endothal each at 1 ppmw. and diuron at 0.25 ppmw.
