Abstract/Contents: | The EPA did a groundwater study on Cape Cod, MA to determine if they could build a golf course and still maintain quality drinking water. The study was done to determine the risk of chemical toxicity and exposure potential from chemicals used on the golf course. Results of this study are given. It is recommended that golf course superintendents and other turf professionals conduct risk assessments for their golf courses and other turf areas to determine if the chemicals they use threaten water supplies. |
