Abstract/Contents:Discusses how bermudagrass greens can become contaminated with different cultivars of bermudagrass and sometimes by mutations of the same cultivar caused by chemical injury, lightning, floods, droughts, or pests. Provides a brief history on how bermudagrass originated in the United States and talks about the research and development of the species primarily conduted at Tifton, Georgia. Steps to correct contamination of greens are discussed.
