| Abstract/Contents: | Reports research results on studies conducted to evaluate subsurface irrigation methods against conventional overhead irrigation at the University of Florida in 1976. Preliminary indications reveal that there are inherent problems with subusurface irrigation. Clogging of emission points along the line resulted in dry spots developing. More research may bring improved designs that might prove effective for subsurface irrigation of irregularly shaped and heavily used turf areas. |
