Abstract/Contents:"It has been recognized for several years that nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium influence the hardening process in plants, thus affecting plant responses to cold temperatures. A close look at the functions of these elements on turfgrasses will be helpful." Data from these experiments show that more potassium could be utilized for higher quality and more cold resistance turf.
