| Abstract/Contents: | The eruption of Mount St. Helens deposited over one cubic mile of ash over large portions of Washington, western Idaho and Oregon. Discusses the chemical and physical properties of the ash as well as techniques of removal from golf course putting greens, fairways, lawns and parks. Also gives results regarding the effectiveness of ash removal. Gives some suggestions for maintaining equipment under such conditions. |
