Abstract/Contents: | Biological decomposition, photodecomposition, adsorption, volatilization and runoff of herbicides are discussed. A list of chemicals which persist in the environment and the properties of those herbicides commonly used in turf is included. An illustration of the processes involved in decomposition is shown. Proper disposal of pesticide containers is also given. |
