Abstract/Contents: | "Fabrics, used in IPM programs in combination with chemical, mechanical and cultural weed control techniques, provide the level of control needed in professional landscaping." Discusses the use of landscape fabrics for weed control. The advantages and drawbacks of several different types of fabrics are discussed, including woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and perforated film. Landscape fabrics can also be impregnated with time-release herbicides to give more complete control. |
