Abstract/Contents:"This experiment was carried out to investigate the growth of Kentucky bluegrass according to the amount and concentration of 1 mL m-2 liquid application on the leaf surface. A preliminary experiment was carried out at Cheonan Dankook University plastic house in 2017. A field experiment was carried out at Cheonan Dankook University experimental plot in 2018. Kentucky bluegrass 'Midnight' was used in preliminary and field experiments. In preliminary experiment, spray volumes were 100, 25, 5, and 1 mL m-2. Applied concentration of trinexapac-ethyl was 0.04 mL at all treatments. In the field experiment, spray volumes were 100 mL m-2, and 1 mL m-2. But the trinexapac-ethyl treatment volumes were 0.04 mL m-2 and 0.02 mL m-2 at 1 mL spray volume. In preliminary experiment, the visual leaf color was darker and the plant height was lower than the control, and statistically significant differences were observed between 1 mL m-2 and 5 mL m-2 of application. However, there was no statistical significant difference in quality compared to the control. It was confirmed that the visual leaf color and quality of Kentucky bluegrass were not lowered by the 5 mL m-2 and 1 mL m-2 spray volumes of treatment compared with the 100, 25 mL m-2 spray volume. In the field experiment, visual leaf color showed a darker than the control (25 mL m-2) at 1 mL m-2 of low spray volume treatment, and statistically significant differences were observed between treatments. From the above results, it was confirmed that the 1 mL m-2 foliar spraying volume of trinexapac-ethyl can be more efficient for the Kentucky bluegrass management with same agriculture aspect."
