Abstract/Contents:"Bentgrass (Agrostis spps.) golf course putting greens are an intensively managed turfgrass surface where soil composition as well as species and cultivar are important. Extensive flooding in Oklahoma in spring 2019 led to inundation and loss of a number of golf course putting greens around Oklahoma. A local shortage of creeping bentgrass (A. stolonifera L.) sod led club operators to seek out sod sources of bentgrass. Consultation of a 2014 U.S. Creeping Bentgrass Sod Source Directory in attempts to locate creeping bentgrass putting green sod led to the discovery in spring of 2019 of the 2014 directory's obsolesce. Several former producers were no longer producing creeping bentgrass sod. A resurvey of the turfgrass sod production industry was undertaken in June through October of 2019 to update a prior directory with information concerning existing sources and anticipated product availability through spring of 2020 in the U.S. The emergency need in Oklahoma for creeping bentgrass putting green sod illustrated the continuing need for source availability directories to be updated frequently so that when disaster strikes the necessary information is available for product purchase in a timely manner."
