USGA Summary Points:The ploidy level of new buffalograss accessions were characterized and ranged from diploid to hexaploid. Genetic diversity of the new buffalograss collection demonstrated uniqueness of the accessions. Concentrations of plant hormones important for buffalograss seed dormancy differed in response to seed soaking treatments.
