Abstract/Contents:The National Park Service has been using integrated pest management (IPM) on a park, regional, and national level policy since 1980. The policy was implemented to reduce the use of pesticides on parks and historic grounds. Examples are given of the (IPM) programs used by the National Park Service at Gettysburg National Historical Park: The Peach Orchard; Mount Rainier National Park: Historic Structures Management; and Fort Vancouver National Historic Site: Turf Management.
