Abstract/Contents:"Peroxidase is exuded from roots of Festuca rubra under axenic conditions. No phenolase was detected. Peroxidase can use phenolic acides, probably differentially, as hydrogen donors for the H2O2 substrate and could thus have an effect on the qualitative and quantitative determinations of phenolic acids also exuded by plants."
