Abstract/Contents:"After two years of comparatively little rainfall in many parts of this country, an increasing number of golfers have had to put up with worn tees, parched fairways, hard approaches and unevenly watered greens - even though their clubs have invested in automatic irrigation systems". Green Committees should address themselves to the situation now, they should be prepared to seek independent advice to help their clubs utilise water resources to best effects.
