Abstract/Contents:The Professional Lawn Care Association of America is upset regarding changes to FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act). The PLCAA feels that the people applying the pesticides should be better educated and that this should be the main focus of any legislative changes that may occur to FIFRA. Increasing fines and allowing homeowners to file suits against neglegible applicators will not help to significantly reduce pesticide exposue.Educating applicators though, will help reduce pesticide pollution.
