Abstract/Contents: | Presently there is an upsurge in golf participation, for many reasons, such as relaxation, light exercise, and a challenging outdoor activity. Expressed a worry that the trend could follow that of the U.S., with a large decrease among the white-collar workers in the 25-44 age group. Reasons for this decline are results from the recession, new state-of-the-art golf clubs charge luxery fees, plus the new courses have holes designed for the best players, causing frustration and lost balls in lakes and natural reserves. |
