USGA Summary Points:Utilizing a decision tree for our decision-making process was an effective way to regulate irrigation scheduling. Soil moisture sensor-based irrigation yielded 84% water savings compared to traditional frequency-based irrigation and 72% savings compared to deficit irrigation (60% ET) approaches.
