USGA Summary Points:Tifeagle ultradwarf bermudagrass reached full establishment several weeks faster than Lazer zoysiagrass at equivalent sprigging rates. Lazer zoysiagrass demonstrated significantly improved shade tolerance compared to Tifeagle ultradwarf bermudagrass. Although Tifeagle had typically had higher Stimpmeter readings than Lazer, Lazer averaged Stimpmeter values > 10 feet by the end of the growing season. Lazer retained green color later into the growing season relative to Tifeagle.
