Abstract/Contents:"In this study, the effects of high and low nitrogen (N) regimes were studied on the response of creeping bentgrass and Kentucky bluegrass maintained under fairway conditions to Primo (Trinexapac-ethyl) and Cutless (Flurprimidol). ... The Primo and Cutless were effective at reducing tissue production even though the area was very wet during the study period. ...It is not possible to draw final conclusions from the data collected in such an unusually wet year, however, it does appear that for the Kentucky bluegrass maintained at fairway height there is reason to believe that higher N levels do reduce discoloration."
